I agree wholeheartedly with previous reviewers. Here are my observations:
Casinos in Niagara Falls, ON.

Seneca Niagara was the second casino constructed in New York State, following in the footsteps of the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in the central part of the state, which broke the ground for Indian casinos in New York a few years earlier.

- Seneca Niagara casino is a great place to work for. If you work hard enough they notice you and you can move up easily. In two years of working there I was promoted twice. Being a casino host is fun and I would recommend it to everybody.
1. Must play 3 hours in order to qualify for free parking ($30CN).
2. U.S. dollars can only be exchanged at the cashier upstairs. There is no cashier nearby.
3. No wifi and I couldn't get any bars on my Verizon phone.
4. Dealers and regulars are too chummy. So much talk.
5. One television screen and they don't have the remote. To change the channel Pit boss had to call security who then went to the AV room on the other side of the casino. Took almost half an hour to change the channel when I requested it. And the one screen had quite a bit of snow, hard to watch.
6. Rake was $6. Too large.
7. At 6:00pm on a Thursday they only had 2 tables going. A third table opened around 8.
Now for that one redeeming feature:
Lots of tourists with lots of money. If you are a good Texas Hold 'em player you can do well, but beware of erratic play. One of those tourists at my table went all in with a pair of deuces after the flop and caught a set on the river. I saw him do this kind of thing several times. He built a nice stack, but in the long run he went home poorer. For this reason alone I will go back.

Like the Turning Stone, this is a very big and popular casino, set up to rival the two large casinos on the Canadian side of the falls, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Seneca Niagara originally had 82,000 square feet of gaming space, a nice size for a casino, but since then, their casino been expanded to 147,000 square feet, now making them one of the largest casinos in the United States.
Niagara Falls, NY, is a small city with a population of only about 50,000, but the falls do bring plenty of tourists and this casino brings plenty of people to the city to gamble as well. The 26 story building dominates the city’s skyline and features the largest hotel in the state outside of Manhattan, and is also the 10th tallest building in Upstate New York.
This complex was built in 2002, on the site of the former Niagara Falls Convention and Civic Center. Niagara Falls’ population had been in decline and today has less than half of the population they had at their peak, due to a loss of industry, and the city’s economy was struggling, so the building of a new, large casino, was certainly met with favor.
Seneca Niagara is an Indian owned casino though so they didn’t need permission from the authorities to build it, and the main idea here was to advance the economic standing of the Seneca Nation of New York, who have several other gambling interests, including two other casinos in the state. They also have a small gambling operation in Cuba as well, in addition to other business interests, including selling their own brand of cigarettes, Native Pride.
So the Seneca Nation is definitely ambitious and the Seneca Niagara is surely an ambitious project, but it has been successful for them and now stand as the centerpiece of their gambling business. Federal laws permit Indian tribes to operate casinos, in spite of what states may want, and they have taken full advantage of this, and serve many guests who come to Niagara Falls, NY, not only to enjoy the fabulous natural scenery but also to do a lot of gambling.

Seneca Niagara is an imposing building, and a beautiful one as well, but it’s even more imposing and beautiful once you come inside. This casino, in particular, knows how to take care of its guests, and especially its casino players, and their large staff go out of their way to make sure all of their guests are made happy and that their stay with them is made most pleasant and entertaining.
While smoking is permitted at the casino, they also offer a separate non smoking casino, Turtle Island to accommodate the needs of players who prefer a non smoking atmosphere. Turtle Island offers a full range of casino games as well.
4,200 slot machines and 99 gaming tables await you in total, so there’s lots of things to play to be sure, as you would expect from a casino of this size. Seneca Niagara actually ranks just outside the top 10 casinos in the world in terms of gaming space, and have the second highest amount of gaming machines among any casino in the world, so this is the big time to be sure.
Ranging from a penny to $100 a pull, this massive array of slot machines are designed to suit everyone’s needs and preferences, and with this many of them, you would expect a lot of variety as well, and you certainly get plenty of that.
There is a separate, high roller area, which feature the $5 and up slots, and they also have a separate high roller table area, with higher betting limits being offered with their popular table games.

They also have several side bets that can be made with Blackjack, Pai Gow Poker, and Baccarat, making playing these games even more interesting.

Staying At Seneca Niagara
Seneca Niagara offers 604 deluxe rooms and suites at their four star hotel, beaming with the amenities that guests really love.
They have both a spa and a fitness center, things that travelers to top resorts have come to expect, and this is indeed a top resort as well as being a hotel and casino. They also have meeting facilities for 2,500 people, and those planning events will be particularly well taken care of here.

Many guests bring their kids to casino resorts these days and your kids won’t be left out here, with their 24/7 arcade. When it comes to dining, there are 3 signature restaurants to try out, 3 more casual dining rooms, and 3 places where you can pick up a quick bite, so there’s lots of options here.
There are 4 different bars, including one reserved for VIP players only, but the good time of all their guests is at the forefront, and they provide the facilities to make this happen.
Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino
A casino stay wouldn’t be complete without the opportunity to see major attractions, and Seneca Niagara has plenty of that. Overall, this is a casino that does very well and is highly rated and the fact that it is in Niagara Falls only adds to what is already an impressive facility in itself.
